What to expect today

THURSDAY: A bit of a cooler start to our Thursday as temperatures begin in the low 50s. A few upper 40s are not impossible either. Fortunately, the temperatures will ramp up quickly all the way into the upper 70s by the afternoon. The air will feel much drier as the more humid air shifts to our south. This will not only allow it to feel great, but push rain chances out of our area yet again.

FRIDAY: The warmer temperatures return quickly and by Friday we will be in the mid 50s to start and high temperatures will reach into the low to mid 80s. Our skies will remain mostly dry with a sprinkle or two possible. But overall, no impacts will be seen from this.

WEEKEND: Temperatures really ramp up by the weekend. Highs will be in the upper 80s both Saturday and Sunday. A pop up shower is not impossible across both days, but chances will be very isolated. The bulk of the rainfall will move in by next week as scattered showers and storms return to north Mississippi.
