MONDAY: The start of the work week will keep this past weekend’s toasty conditions here in north Mississippi. We are waking up to overnight low’s that only dropped to the mid to upper 70’s and these temperatures will not waste anytime heating up. We will reach the upper 90’s for our high today, but those heat indices will be dramatically worse. All of us will feel like we are in the triple digits so keep that water bottle handy as you get ready for the toasty and sunny day ahead.
THE REST OF THE WEEK: Toasty conditions get even toastier as we work through the work week ahead. Our high’s will stay in the upper 90’s while heat indices continue to climb. Rain chances stay unimpressive, but a rogue shower can’t be ruled out to bring some relief to only a lucky few. However, these rain chances try to make their way back in the forecast later this work week as we get ready for the 4th of July weekend coming on up.
